Ingredients: (Dough)

1 Cup Warm Milk
1 Egg
3 Tbsp Sugar
2 Tsp Instant Yeast
3 & 1/4 Cup All Purpose Flour (Maida)
4 Tbsp Butter
1/2 Tsp Salt
Some Sesame Seeds

Complete Recipe (Step by Step)

  1. Add 1 cup warm milk in a bowl, 1 egg, 3 Tbsp sugar, 2 Tsp instant yeast. Mix all the ingredients together.
  2. Sift 2 cup plain flour and keep 1/4 cup of flour aside.
  3. Mix together with a spatula and add 1/2 Tsp salt.
  4. When dough is coming together, add 4 Tbsp softened butter and mix with a spatula.
  5. When butter is mixed, add 2 Tbsp warm water. Knead with a hands. If dough is too sticky than sprinkle little flour from 1/4 cup.
  6. Add little oil in a bowl and knead the dough again.
  7. Dough should be soft. Cover and let it rest for 1 hour or double in size.
  8. When dough has doubled in size. Transfer on a surface and knead for few seconds.
  9. Dough will spring back if touched. This shows that dough has been proofed properly.
  10. Divide the dough in 8 equal parts.
  11. Make balls, cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  12. After 10 minutes, flatten and fill with chicken tikka filling. Gather and pinch to seal and make a ball.
  13. Place all the balls in a baking dish and cover it for 10 minutes.
  14. Brush with egg wash. 1 egg + 2 Tbsp milk. Sprinkle some sesame seeds on each ball.
  15. Bake in preheated oven at 350°F / 180°C for 15 – 20 minutes.
  16. After removing from oven. Brush with melted butter and enjoy.
