Ingredients:
4 Chicken Leg Pieces
1&1/2 Freshly Crushed Black Pepper
1 Tsp Salt
2 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
Ingredients: (For 2nd Marination)
1/2 Cup Yogurt
1/3 Cup Cream
2 Tbsp Green Chili Paste
1 Tbsp Oil
1/2 Tbsp Crushed Black Pepper
1 Tsp Salt
Chat Masala (For Sprinkle)
Garam Masala (For Sprinkle)
Coal for Smoke Effect
Complete Recipe (Step by Step)
- Take 4 chicken whole leg pieces and make cuts on each piece.
- For 1st Marination: Add 1 Tbsp ginger paste, 1 Tbsp garlic paste, 1&1/2 Tsp freshly crushed black pepper, 1 Tsp salt, 2 Tbsp lemon juice. Rub the marination over chicken pieces and marinate it for 1 hour minimum.
- For 2nd Marination: After 1 hour, pour 1/2 cup thick yogurt over marinated chicken, 1/3 cup cream, 1 Tsp salt, 1/2 Tbsp crushed black pepper, 1/2 Tbsp oil, 2 Tbsp green chili paste. Rub all the marination over chicken and let it marinate for 30 minutes minimum.
- Add 4 Tbsp oil for shallow frying. Fry each pieces on medium flame. Let it cook for 5 minutes on one side. Flip over after 5 minutes and pour the left over marination over the chicken.
- Cover and cook for 15 minutes on low flame.
- After 15 minutes, flip over and cook on medium flame till marination dries out.
- When leg pieces are cooked. Sprinkle chat masala over each piece. Sprinkle some garam masala too. Place burning coal and give smoke for 2 – 3 minutes covered.
- After 3 minutes,remove the coal and serve hot with Raita & Puris.
