Chicken Steam Roast Recipe

Ingredients:

4 Chicken Whole Legs
1&1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Heaped Chili Flakes
1 Tsp Heaped Red Pepper
1 Tsp Heaped Garlic Paste
1 Tsp Heaped Chat Masala
1/4 Cup Oil
1 Cup Water
1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder

Complete Recipe (Step by Step)

  1. Take 4 chicken whole leg pieces, cut in half and make cuts over each piece.
  2. Add 1 cup water in a pressure cooker. Add 1/4 cup oil in a water. Add 1&1/2 Tsp salt, 1 Tsp heaped chili flakes, 1 Tsp red pepper. Also add 1 Tsp heaped chat masala, 1/4 Tsp turmeric powder, 1 Tsp heaped garlic paste. Mix all the ingredients well.
  3. Place the chicken pieces in the mixture and coat each piece with the marination.
  4. Note: When pressure weight starts moving then lower the flame to medium to low. Let it cook for 7 minutes.
  5. Give pressure for 7 – 8 minutes on medium flame.
  6. after 7 minutes, switch off flame and release its steam.
  7. When cooker cooled down, remove its weight and open.
  8. Chicken is cooked. But don’t touch and cook on high flame to dry out its water.
  9. When water dries out, Steam Roast is ready.
  10. Sprinkle some sesame seeds over the Roast and serve with Raita and Puri Paratha.
