1 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Butter Room Temperature
2 Tbsp All Purpose Flour (Maida)
1 Tbsp Cinnamon

3 Cups Sift All Purpose Flour
1/2 Tsp Salt
3/4 Cup Sugar Powder
2 Tsp Baking Powder
2 Tsp Baking Soda
1 & 1/2 Cup Buttermilk
2 Large Eggs
2 Tsp Vanilla Essence
1/2 Cup Melted Unsalted Butter

2 Cup Sugar Powder
1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
5 Tbsp Milk
Complete Recipe (Step by Step)
1.Preheat oven to 350°F / 180°C
2.For preparing Cinnamon toppings, take a bowl and add 1 cup of packed brown sugar, 1/2 cup room temperature butter, 2 Tbsp all purpose flour, 1 Tbsp cinnamon powder. Mix with a whisk or electric beater till well combined. Don’t over mix. It will be in sand consistency. Refrigerate it till cake batter is ready.
3.To prepare a cake batter. Take another bowl and add 3 cups of all purpose flour sifted, 1/2 Tsp salt, 3/4 cup sugar powder, 2 Tsp baking powder, 1/2 Tsp soda. Mix all the ingredients well.
4.Now all 1&1/2 cup butter milk. For making butter milk. Take 1 cup milk and add 1 Tsp lemon juice or vinegar and let it sit for 10 minutes.
5. Add 2 eggs in room temperature, including 2 Tsp vanilla essence or extract.
6. Mix the cake batter with whisk or beater. Mix till all the ingredients are well combined.
7. Add 1/2 cup unsalted, melted butter. Pour butter slowly in the batter and mix. Pour rest of the batter and mix well. Don’t over mix.
8. Grease 13×9 inch baking pan. Pour the cake batter in the pan.
9. Take cinnamon topping and sprinkle over the top of the batter.
10. Take a butter knife and swirl it around and try not to scrape it against the bottom of your cake pan. Swirl it around pretty good to get it mixed in but not fully mixed in.
11. Bake at 350°F for about 30 – 35 minutes.
12. Meanwhile make a glaze for the cake. Take a bowl and add 2 cups sugar powder, 1 Tsp vanilla essence or extract. Add 5 Tbsp milk.
13. Whisk it all up really well until it is smooth. If it is too thin than add 1/2 cup sugar. It should be pour-able but not too think or thick.
14. After 30 minutes. Let the cake sit on a rack for about 20 minutes before adding the glaze. Drizzle the glaze over it. Server the cake warm.
Note: This cake is best eaten warm. Store the leftovers in the fridge and heat for a bit in the microwave to warm up slices. Enjoy with team or coffee.
